Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets, business continuity, and vendor management are adequately protected and aligned with organizational objectives. As a key leader, the CISO will develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies to mitigate risks, safeguard sensitive data, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and financial technology, with a proven track record of leading security teams in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy, including cybersecurity, physical security, business continuity, incident management and vendor management, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Establish a robust risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and compliance risks across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations (SOC 1, SOC 2, FFIEC cybersecurity standards, PCI-DSS, ACH Rules) and manage audits with regulatory agencies and accounting firms to achieve clean audit outcomes.
- Oversee security operations to monitor, detect, and mitigate cyber threats while ensuring effective incident response, disaster recovery, and resilience planning.
- Work with IT, CIS teams, and external contractors to implement security infrastructure, IAM controls, endpoint protection, and secure third-party vendor integrations.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines while collaborating with IT, legal, and compliance teams.
- Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders to strengthen security culture.
- Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity and physical security threats, trends, and technologies to enhance the company’s overall security posture.
- Represent the company’s security interests with regulators, partners, and customers, ensuring strong governance and risk management practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial services or fintech industries, with a strong understanding of security challenges in financial transactions and digital banking.
- Proven expertise in cloud security, network security, and application security.
- Deep knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive teams, regulators, and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Ability to think strategically while executing security initiatives in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
