Job Summary

As a consultant in this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming payment solutions for credit unions. Through engaging discovery calls, insightful vendor evaluations, and meaningful reference visits, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding credit unions toward solutions that elevate their success.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct thorough assessments of credit unions’ current landscapes, understanding credit unions’ payment processing models and technology goals. Conduct assessments, identify gaps, and provide strategy for enhancement to ensure credit unions can meet their goals.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for payment solutions within the credit union movement. Foster long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with credit unions, ensuring sustained engagement and satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor by understanding their goals and challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding credit unions goals, challenges, and opportunities, and providing tailored solutions. Provide market insights and sophisticated product recommendations, leveraging industry expertise in credit union payment processing.
  • Facilitate key meetings and events with credit unions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement payment solutions.
  • Assist with development and management of budgets, as well as create accurate sales forecasts to support strategic and financial decision-making as it relates to Marketing.
  • Oversee the implementation of payment solutions, offering continuous support and optimizing the use of products.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, business development, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Strong sales and business development skills, with a track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of credit union operations and payment solutions, with the ability to assess and recommend improvements.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage projects, including vendor selection and implementation.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate payment solutions, market trends, and client needs, providing actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with credit unions, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing needs.
