The Maine Credit Union League’s 84th Annual Convention is coming right up and we can’t wait to be there! On May 13 and 14, credit union staff members from across the state of Maine will either gather in Portland at the Holiday Inn By the Bay or opt to connect to the hybrid event virtually. This year’s theme of Stronger Together reflects the partnership within the People Helping People industry, as well as the inspirational, uplifting tone of the event.

“Maine is the state that Synergent calls home,” shared Scott Johnsen, Senior Vice President of Operations for Synergent. “It’s where we were founded, it’s where we are headquartered, and the majority of our team resides in Maine. This is home and the Convention has that feel when we see the credit union staff members that are part of our Synergent family. We’re working on a lot of new initiatives that we can’t wait to share with them. We absolutely are stronger together.

Subject matter experts will be at the Synergent booth and attending sessions during the event. The Synergent Ecosystem, Faster Payments (including JHA PayCenter, Zelle, and RTP Receive), In-House Integrated Credit Cards, Episys marketing integration strategies, and consulting for core, payments, and fraud are just a few of the many areas we look forward to discussing with attendees.

“There’s always something new happening in the payments space and, unfortunately, to watch out for in terms of fraud,” said Rebekah Higgins, Payments & Fraud Consultant for Synergent. “In addition to all of the operational solutions that Synergent deploys, we also are proud to be here in a consultative capacity to ensure credit unions are getting the most out of their product and service investment and able to make informed, strategic decisions. Being able to connect at Convention is a great opportunity to have casual, meaningful conversations in these areas and I can’t wait to see everyone!”

Synergent is proud to be a premier sponsor of the Maine Credit Union League’s 84th Annual Convention. Maine credit unions who wish to attend must register by Friday, April 22.
