Five campaigns from credit unions that partner with Synergent Direct Marketing Services received prestigious Diamond Awards at the 24th Annual Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council Conference recognition dinner on March 31 in San Antonio, Texas. The Diamond Award recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry.
“Synergent assisted credit union partners in earning national recognition for outstanding marketing at this year’s conference and awards dinner by developing winning strategies, themes, designs, visual brands, and subsequent materials to help push credit unions into the marketing limelight and drive traceable, data-driven marketing, with strong results and ROI through successful initiatives,” shared Doug MacDonald, Vice President of Synergent Direct Marketing Services.
The following projects received 2017 Diamond Awards:
- Category’s Best – Direct Mail: “No Place Sweeter” Home Equity Mailing – Katahdin FCU: Millinocket, ME
- Direct Mail: “Love your Loan!” – Merrimack Valley CU, North Andover, MA
- Annual Report: “TCFCU’s 2015 Annual Report” – Town & Country FCU: South Portland, ME
- Brand Awareness: “Rainbow Onboarding” Campaign – Rainbow FCU, Westbrook, ME
- Brand Awareness: “Seaboard’s SUPER Upgrade” – Seaboard, FCU, Bucksport, ME
The Maine Credit Union League was also recognized for a Category’s Best in CU Association/League or CUSO Marketing for its “Belong to a CU and Own It” campaign for Statewide Awareness. Synergent, which is a subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League, created the microsite and digital advertising for the multi-channeled program.
CUNA’s Marketing & Business Development Council, a national network comprised of over 1,200 credit union marketing and business development professionals, selects the awards that given in each of 30 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond. The Diamond Awards are the most prestigious annual credit union industry competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence and outstanding results in credit union marketing.
