Employee Spotlight: Lisa Beaulieu, Business Development Support Specialist

Lisa Beaulieu, Business Development Support Specialist, is well known throughout Synergent and within our industry. For over 25 years, she has proudly served credit unions and been a positive, enthusiastic resource to her colleagues throughout the organization.

“My favorite part of my job is making sure credit unions are happy!” exclaimed Beaulieu. “Technology has changed so much since I was hired at Synergent, and I also love learning something new every day.”

When Beaulieu was hired in 1999, it was in a different role. Over the years, she has been able to work in various areas across the company, expanding her skillset along the way.

“I started in the accounting department and was there for three years,” explained Beaulieu. “I then moved into Card Services in 2003 and stayed there for 16 years, until 2019 when I moved into my current job as a Business Development Support Specialist. Over time, I have taken on more complex responsibilities, such as working on contracts, creating exhibits and schedules, managing key accounts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. With the rapid advancement of technology, I have adapted to new tools and platforms that streamline processes, improve communication, and increase overall efficiency.”

In her current role as a member of the Business Development team, Beaulieu plays a vital part in driving Synergent’s mission to support credit unions, and she enjoys contributing to a team that actively seeks to build relationships and drive growth.

“My efforts not only facilitate growth and innovation for credit unions, but also enhance the services they provide to their members,” shared Beaulieu. “While there is no typical day, most kickoff with a look at the Business Development Dashboard, where I review my daily tasks and open opportunities. This dashboard provides a comprehensive view of leads, pipeline status, helping me prioritize my efforts for the day. That doesn’t mean it can’t change in an instant!”

In reflecting on her career at Synergent, being part of the Business Development team has been a highlight.

“Professional growth and development within Synergent are significant factors in my choice to join the Business Development team and to remain within the organization,” said Beaulieu. “I continue to be impressed by the commitment to continuous learning and the emphasis on mentorship, which I believe are essential for advancing my career. The dynamic nature of business development keeps me challenged and engaged, making every day an opportunity to learn something new. I’m particularly proud of how this team collaborates to tackle challenges and develop solutions that meet our clients’ needs. I enjoy being part of this team and the meaningful contributions we make together. Seeing the positive impact on our credit unions and their members is incredibly fulfilling, but also knowing the importance of teamwork and innovation in achieving our goals. It motivates me to continue pushing for excellence in everything we do at Synergent.”

Outside of Synergent, Beaulieu loves nothing better than relaxing on a Sunday afternoon, watching a good football game with her husband of over 33 years, who she met when she was just 15 years old. Her son, Derek, is the light of her life, and she cherishes spending time with family, especially her three nieces who love to have sleepovers at her house. She also enjoys hiking with friends, capturing moments with her Nikon camera, and birdwatching.
