Systems Analyst – This position implements and supports a broad range of the data center’s infrastructure, systems, and applications. As a technical resource, you are responsible for the configuration and maintenance of core business applications and hardware. This role provides guidance and escalation support to Senior Desktop Support Specialist personnel.
Configuration Specialist – This entry-level position works within the Information Systems team delivering financial technology to our customers, by extension their end customers and most importantly connecting systems reliably through configuration and performance management.
Accounting Analyst – This position provides accounting systems implementation services and support to new and merging credit unions for Synergent’s core data processing platform. This position is responsible for providing superior customer support through general ledger implementation, needs analysis, unit testing, documentation, set-up support, training, and settlement. This position involves extensive customer interaction, and the incumbent will demonstrate sound technical and accounting knowledge as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills. Some travel is required for credit union go-live processes.
Software Training Analyst – This position is responsible for the development, coordination, and facilitation of technical and skills-based training programs for Maine Credit Union League and Synergent staff and credit union partners. The incumbent will train on the Episys Core Processing system and specialized financial products and services, focusing on core conversion and merger projects. The incumbent will develop learning plans, facilitation guides, training manuals, and evaluation tools for standard and custom programs, and will perform implementation tasks related to training areas of focus. Some travel is required in support of conversion-merger projects and credit union programs.
Implementation Analyst – This position provides software implementation services to new and merging credit unions for Synergent’s core platform and supports a variety of applications including, but not limited to, loans and deposits. This position is responsible for providing superior customer support through implementation processes, needs analysis, unit testing, documentation, set-up support, and some training. This position involves extensive customer interaction and service, and the incumbent will demonstrate sound technical knowledge as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills. Some travel is required for credit union go-live processes.
Senior Vice President – Membership Services – This position is responsible for managing the functions and staff of the Maine Credit Union League (MECUL)/Synergent, working closely with the President/CEO. Areas of accountability include, but are not limited to, advocacy, community outreach, education/information and facilitating credit union collaboration. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this position assists the President in the effective management of the organization, including both MECUL and Synergent, and the organization’s strategic plan.
Programmer Analyst – Assist Synergent in achieving its mission statement: “To help credit unions succeed, and improve the financial lives of their members.” This role is responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting of programs, systems, and procedures used.
Conversion Data Analyst – Do you love data? Can you collect, segment, and categorize it? This position is responsible for providing, defining, analyzing, and formatting data to help deliver mergers of financial institutions. It is also responsible for converting new financial institutions to our data center. Using SQL tools then mapping the data to our software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering requires working with our trainers, customers, and our Software Development teams to assure these data solutions create a seamless set of software solutions. Account Relationship Manager – This position has the primary responsibility to ensure that all assigned credit unions receive a high level of support from the Enterprise. This position also requires an understanding Enterprise products and services and the ability to discuss them with credit unions at a high level. The incumbent is involved in conversions and mergers as assigned, coordinates demonstrations of all the Enterprise products to existing credit unions as well as provide backup to the Sales Support team for demonstrations to prospects. This position requires up to 60% travel.
Business Analyst – This position is responsible for providing superior support through research and analysis of projects to promote the effective utilization of the Enterprise software solutions. This position leads credit unions in implementing existing products and services on the core platform. The incumbent performs analysis, unit testing, and prepares documentation.
Customer Service Associate – This position is responsible for building strong relationships with credit unions through being the single point of contact and providing effective resolutions to daily research, transactions, and software processing challenges. The incumbent solidifies relationships by personalizing the credit union interaction through high-quality phone, email, and web communication tools. This position can require extended hours and weekend on-call coverage in support of our credit union partners.
Check Processing Specialist – This entry-level position is responsible for the accurate and timely performance of daily data entry and maintenance functions as requested by credit unions and internal staff. The incumbent is responsible for entering all data received from various sources into multiple web portals and/or balancing workbooks. The incumbent is also responsible for accurately performing departmental tasks within established deadlines. This position is responsible for balancing daily files in excess of $100M daily on behalf of our credit unions. The incumbent performs exception processing and meets Federal Reserve Bank and Electronic Check Clearing House Organization (ECCHO) deadlines and follows regulations established by both.
Automation Engineer – This position follows the Senior Automation Engineer position in growth within the Information Systems – OPS department. The incumbent is responsible for supporting all requirements of production processing, including batch job setup, automation setup, and Unix scripting necessary to deliver core and third-party application output. The incumbent is required to be on call 24×7 for any issues related to these responsibilities.
